About Your Coach: Built for the Long Run

IPS Photo on Trail

I started running when I was twelve years old, chasing teammates through muddy trails and cafeteria pizza promises. What began with cross country eventually took me to the collegiate level—and since then, I’ve covered it all: 5Ks, turkey trots, triathlons, ultramarathons, and every mile in between.

Now, with 23 years of combined running experience and a background in formal coaching education, I bring the depth, perspective, and flexibility to support runners of all levels.

Whether you’re just starting out or chasing a personal best, I’ve been where you are—and I know how to help you get where you want to go.

Running is still one of the most important parts of my life—but the motivation has shifted.   It’s not just about results anymore. It’s about the challenge, the fun, the community, and the rhythm of movement.  That’s the energy I bring to Final Kick Coaching.

The Coaching Philosophy: Progress over Perfection

I know what it’s like to juggle life and training. My job is to help you find a rhythm that works—for you.

I’m here to guide, adapt, and support.

My coaching is all about meeting you where you are, designing training that fits your life, and building consistency over time. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned racer, I believe:

  • Life comes first—running goals follow.

  • Burnout sucks—joy wins.

  • Every runner is different—and that’s the best part.

No matter your pace or experience, I’ll help you stay steady, build smart, and be ready when it’s time for your final kick.
